Pretty sure this is what I looked like after the run this morning!

11 mile run with Kenyan Way this morning.  One of my favorite routes UNTIL the last 2 miles which are along the 'goat trails'.  I forgot my patella band and by the time I hit the bayou my knee was ouchy.  I have gotten out of the habit of wearing it, but that can no longer happen.
Fog so thick that it was 'raining' and the high humidity made it feel close to not being able to breathe.  Add in the stress factor of just 'life' and I had to slow way down those last 2.  Eh.
Now to work a shift at the Locker and then on to the fam's house to spend some time with momma.  :(

I remember running in Florida and feeling that thick heavy air. YUK!!! No worries about slowing down, it was your cool down :)

I have been taking the detour at the catacombs and running on the new paved trail. It takes me all the way to the YWCA and then I just cross over to Feagan and then on to home base. It easily cuts out half the goat trails plus I don't have to breath in the bat stank.

I will have to remember that! i ran up the hill there by the bat bridge as opposed to running under it. i hate that damn bat bridge. all that squeaking gives me the ibby jibbies and the stank is just awful when its warm and humid!

I hate when the air is so thick it is hard to breathe. Great job on the run though!
